As a fellow teenager myself, I am doing everything I can within my power and mental capacity to think of constructive, creative, bona fide but yet practical solutions to help solve the problem of sexual activity among lost and wayward teenagers. Hence, I believe that Pharmaceutical Companies should begin undertaking a tedious, controversial, but yet very rewarding task in inventing a pill that would decrease teenage sex drive. This pill would be like Viagra or Levitra but instead would have the opposite effects. It would be able to be taken with any kind of food or drink and would even have the enhanced capability of being crushed into power; which would come in handy for the teenager’s parents to slip into their drinks in the event of refusal. In addition, this new and revolutionary magic pill would benefit society and motivate teenagers to contribute to it more in more productive and contributory ways; economically, financially, and socially.
So, Should Pharmaceutical Companies invent a pill that decreases Teenage Sex Drive?
Answer:
As I have already said SSRI’s have this effect but are not used for this purpose. If you don’t want sex then don’t have but you have no idea what your missing out on.
Why would you deprive others of pleasure?
Not to mention that suppressing teenage sex hormones would stop developmental progression so everyone would remain looking like children and have child physiology.
No one would be able to have children and the human race would die out!
Is this what you want?
Look at the science you are proposing and you will see that this would be detrimental to us all.

We’ve been married 12 years, 2 kids ages 8 and 6. I love her very much. I think she may be feeling unattractive/unloved by my lack of sexual interest based on a few things I’ve been able to find online this morning. I just don’t feel the need to do it as often as she does. Her demands and pressure are making me feel pressured and it seems like a chore. Just like I like to ride my new motorcycle, I wouldn’t want to ride it 2 hours a day…but maybe a few days a week for 30-45 minutes or so. Too much of a good thing at least in my case, isn’t good, it cheapens it for me, and yes, it feels like work if asked to do it too much, just like the motorcycle analogy. But for her, she really wants it once a day or preferably more. I told her maybe cause I’m getting older at 34 years old, I dunno. She’s 35, attractive, good build, so that’s not an issue. She says I’m still young enough, and that shouldn’t be a prob. I’m not nearly as easily aroused as I used to be. After a blowout on the subject. I need help in the form of potential solutions. Other than the obvious ‘have more sex’ thing…I was thinking of scheduling sex. Our time together in the eve’s is plagued with noisy kids, tv, a small condo. Maybe if we make a “date” to do the deed, it will give me time to mentally psyche myself up for it. Other thoughts? Maybe Cialis or Levitra? Costs on those? Covered by insurance? I’ve heard bad thing about viagra. I think we need to compromise at 3-5 times a week. Help Please!
Answer:
Consider your wife’s perspective. Her desire to enjoy sex may not be altered or changed by the number of years married, number of kids, or ages of the kids. This desire for a sexual release may be consistent for her while your desire fluctuates based on some of these factors. Continuing with your analogy, let us suppose for a moment that your wife is the type of person who would enjoy to ride a motorcycle for 2-3 hours a day while someone like you can be satisfied in much less time. How many hours or minutes is the correct time to ride a motorcycle? Which one of you is right? Perhaps, you both are correct. 30-45 minutes is the right amount of time for you, while 2-3 hours is the right amount of time for her.
I say all of this to help you understand that the frequency of sex she desires is not wrong simply because it is inconsistent with the frequency of sex that you feel is right for you. Everyone is different, and it is okay for us all to be different in this regard. I really do not think you believe that your wife wants more frequent sex because she wants you to feel overwhelmed, pressured, or become burnt out on it. Most likely, she wants more sex because of the enjoyment she receives from it. She does have a right to want to enjoy sex and to express this desire to you. She does not necessarily have the right to demand that you completely ignore your own wants by catering to hers. My guess is that she would prefer for you to find an increased desire to have more frequent sex with her.
The good news is that you are already on the right track. You are considering options for compromise, such as 3-5 times a week. That seems to be meeting in the middle. I would also like to consider taking turns sometimes. By this I mean, that one week you have it your way: sex once and then be left alone. Another week, she can have it her way: a week long sexual marathon where you give her as much as she wants.
Maybe you will find that your desire increases some. Maybe she will finally get her fill and become satisfied with not having sex every single day. Maybe you both will find that you naturally start to gravitate toward the very compromise that you suggested.

and instructed us about the time of intercourse…?What i’m puzzled about is, She also prescribed LEVITRA for my husband although he does not have erectile dysfunction…I asked her if it is really needed during schedules of intercourse cause I don’t think my husband will have problems with his erection if ever, she said yes.
I have read about side effects of the drug, and so i am a little bit reluctant to let my husband take it. Is it really needed?
Please help. Thanks
to drana banana, yes i will tell you if i ever find out..thanks
to Layla, yes i have decided to look for another obgyn…i want doctors to be able to answer my why’s and whta for’s…she seems to be not interested in elaborating matters..thanks
Answer:
I would really talk to my doctor about it if I were you. I would ask, specifically, “why do you want my husband to take this? He does not have ED.” Let her know that you have questions and make sure she answers them. Doctors are not above the responsibility of communication just because they went to school for half their lives and we didnt.
In any case, Im wondering if she is prescribing it to assist in sperm quality? Although I would think she’d be better off prescribing some otc vitamins or something. But definitely ask her about it! Im really curious now too. If you get an answer I beg you to email and let me know what it is!
Good Luck!

ok so i had a little bit of issues with performance anxiety with my girlfriend, i got really nervous when we were going too have sex and all that but nothing ever went wrong.. i always got an erection but it wasnt like as strong as before because i was so nervous, and nervous for NO REASON AT ALL, i just suddenly got nervous like out on nowhere my mind was like “what if i cant get an erection” and these thoughts are happening when im with her and its making me think about it when were doin foreplay and all these thoughts are making me not as horny as i should be and not giving me a very firm erection.. does this sound like ocd?? and now she left town for 2 weeks and now randomly out of nowhere i seen gay couple and i was like omg what if i am gay.. and i know for a ******* fact i am not gay, never had any gay thoughts my whole life until now and im 19 (20 in 2 months) and not once did i ever ever realize or have any gay thoughts, i hate this because now i am afraid too go out because if i even look at a guy or anything it triggers these thoughts.. even my friends that ive had my whole life trigger these terrible unwanted thought.. this is ruining my life, i looked at gay porno and such too see if i was gay but i was disgusted.. i could barely watch it, it was gross.. but still my mind is almost trying to convince me i am gay? like what the ****… its driving me nuts and im booking an appointment tomorrow for my doctor.. i think i have OCD.. and another thing, should i ask my doctor for a small mg of viagra or levitra or something?
Answer:
I know exactly how you feel! First off i don’t think your gay, second i think they whole “OCD” is really just self confidence. That’s how i am when i am about to have sex. Like i could know the guy like the back of my hand and get feel completely comfortable around him anytime, but when it boils down to having sex i totally freak, and i have no reason to. I am always worried about if i am going to screw things up or “ruin the moment”. You just need to relax, don’t think about it some much (getting horny) just let it come to you. I don’t really know what to tell you, but i do know what your talking about. For the longest time i thought i was gay, but then i realized that i was just confused, and thinking and worrying about it to much. Just maybe talk it over with her, maybe take things a little bit slower if you are that stressed over getting “horny”. I hope this helps

I had my hopes all up since I was 2 days late (I have a pretty regular 28 day cycle), but nevertheless AF came on 30th CD. I think at the back of my mind I was kind of expecting it would be 2 days late since I think ovulated on Cd 16 this past cycle. I did not use any OPK’s or charting just based on Cervical Mucous I knew i ovulated on CD 16 and hence Bd’d that day. Prior to that we had Bd’d on CD 11 and 14. So these should have covered all bases right? So what could be the problem?
This is too frustrating with this being my 5th mth. I think I know when I ovulate and if you have sex in that week shouldn’t that be enough?? What should we do differently? Is the leakage of sperm after sex the problem. My hubby thinks that seems to be the problem and I always convice him that some will always spill out.. but could that be the problem?
I also had hubby take the home Fertell test and it came out fine. The test checks sperm motility. But hubby did have performance anxiety this mth on Cd 13 and in fact he did get a sample of Levitra from him doc just to make sure we we did not loose the fertile day this past mth. Does the ED (or performance anxiety) have anything to do with the quality of the sperm? Hubby was able to perform without any drugs on CD 11 and 16 though.
So what if anything different do we do this next mth? I haven’t used charting and OPK’s . OPk’s don’t always seem to work for me. I did not get positive on the OPK in the cycle before that though I had CM. so decided not to use OPK.
Should I have hubby take zinc? should I take preseed which would help the swimmers to get where they have to?
any other tips would be useful
Answer:
Well, to start, although 5 months seems like FOREVER when you are ttc, it’s hardly any time according to how long it takes most couple’s without any medical problems. The average it takes a normal healthy couple is up to 12 months.
BUT, as TTC for even one failed month can become depressing, I would start by telling you to go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com and CHART YOUR BBT. It is the most efficient way to see when you are ovulating. So, start there and get support on how to read yor charts. Good luck to you
