I take an Rx for a minor medical problem, that has the side effect of totally eliminating my natural attraction to the opposite sex.
I’ve already asked this in “Y!A men’s health”, but I want a woman’s perspective before I make a final decision. My doctor says he’ll prescribe as much as I need, but I have to narrow it down to one, and stop playing medication roulette.
I can’t ask my gf, because neither of us kept a record of which I was on, while making love!
Please ignore this question, if you find it too personal. I just want to make my gf/fiancee happy.
By losing “natural attraction”, I mean sexual excitement, without a medication. I still love my gf deeply, and want us to have a happy romantic, and satisfying sexual life together.
Answer:
If your meds are interfering with your libido, why not change them. I wouldn’t add more meds, I would try an alternate solution.

What are the long term effects of taking it and is there anything else i can do beside taking ED meds?
Answer:
There are plenty, most linked to your cardiovuscular health, nausea, loss of hearing and eyesight etc…and in ‘rare’ cases – permanent impotence and heart attack. Those things aren’t safe in the long term.
Zinc is the safest and most approved natural help – and supplementing with it can help.
There are some less accepted herbal treatments that may act more as placebos but there is something to them.
If its just nerves and its psychological, it will pass with some patience.

Hubby just got Rx for Levitra. Has anyone tried it? What are the pros and cons? We are clueless about when to take it prior to the deed, how long it will last and exactly what will happen or what will it do? Of course we know why it was prescribed and what should be happening, I just want to know any expierences you guys may have had with it?

Answer:
Yes I’ve found Levitra works better for me than Cialas or Viagra anymore. The other two used to work but the effect has now lessened. Take Levitra on an empty stomach and it seems to work for me fairly quickly; between half an hour and an hour. I can be standing doing something and syddenly feel it work.

Umm, if he’s gay, why would erectile medication make him want to get it on with a woman? He’s, in most cases, still going to want to do it with another guy.

But if you’re not suppose to have it i.e. high blood pressure, already taking MAO”s that could interupt your blood circultatory system. that’s why it’s prescribed – approved by a doctor.

im 30 and had an issue recently,
doctor was viament on cialis and it worked like a charm and its safer too. You can take it on friday and it will work for the entire weekend!
had so much sex i was sore for a week, helped me get over my issue in one dose,
very expesive though….thats the only down side

I have hypertension, but is under control, a little high in blood sugar and cholesterol. The medicine I am now taking is coapprovel (hydrochlordthiazide), caltrate plus (calcium and vit d), Vit B1,B6&12, Lipitor (atorvastatin) and silymarin and Vit. C 500 mg daily to control the blood pressure, cholesterol, strengthen the bone and for liver and anti oxidant

I have ED related to having diabetes, so my doctor gave me Levitra to try. If you take one and have sex, and then say an hour late want to go again, will that initial bill still assist with an erection?

Yes, this levitra tablet will still be working. Levitra works a little longer than Viagra. They both take effect in about 30 minutes. With Levitra, the effects last for about 5 hours. With Viagra, the effects last approximately 4 hours. I have been on levitra cialis and viagra. I am able to compare. I purchase them without a prescription through one reputable pharmacy.

each levitra is 20mg. is it safe to take another 1/2 pill equaling 30mg before sex?
Answer:
It is impossible to safely answer that question without knowing your other medications and your medical history. The better question is why isn’t the 20mg dose working anymore. You should probably see the doctor who wrote you the Levitra to make sure you don’t have worsening heart or vascular disease.
