and instructed us about the time of intercourse…?What i’m puzzled about is, She also prescribed LEVITRA for my husband although he does not have erectile dysfunction…I asked her if it is really needed during schedules of intercourse cause I don’t think my husband will have problems with his erection if ever, she said yes.

I have read about side effects of the drug, and so i am a little bit reluctant to let my husband take it. Is it really needed?

Please help. Thanks
to drana banana, yes i will tell you if i ever find out..thanks
to Layla, yes i have decided to look for another obgyn…i want doctors to be able to answer my why’s and whta for’s…she seems to be not interested in elaborating matters..thanks

Answer:

I would really talk to my doctor about it if I were you. I would ask, specifically, “why do you want my husband to take this? He does not have ED.” Let her know that you have questions and make sure she answers them. Doctors are not above the responsibility of communication just because they went to school for half their lives and we didnt.

In any case, Im wondering if she is prescribing it to assist in sperm quality? Although I would think she’d be better off prescribing some otc vitamins or something. But definitely ask her about it! Im really curious now too. If you get an answer I beg you to email and let me know what it is!

Good Luck!

aphrodiasia medicines-drugs?

Hello,I have a question for you all: do you know if it exists any medicine or drug that acts on the sexual desire? I know that there are drugs such viagra cialis levitra and uprima but for what i know and tried on myself they just act on the “mechanic” of the erections, not on the sexual desire.I also know that testosterone could indirectly bring to a stronger sexual stimulation but again it is not a specific drug for that. So,are there any medicines that can be prescribed in case of low sexual desire? For example dopamine increasers?Thank you all very much for the answers you will post and sorry for my poor English.

Problems with Cozaar?

Sunday, August 14th, 2011 | Permalink

I started taking this drug called Cozaar for high blood pressure and notice dizziness and almost zero libido. I mean this stuff seems like it just neuters me.
So instead of my doc taking me off this drug he just prescribes me levitra.
I mean I am 35 year old fit trim guy, I don’t wan’t have to take a pill to get it up.
My blood pressure was 160/90 when went in but I am going to try to lower it with diet and
exercise. Does anyone out there have any advise, I am too young to have to live with boner problems.
Is there a remedy?

Thanks.

How effective is a vacume pump for ED and how much does it cost?

Thursday, August 11th, 2011 | Permalink

I never had need for viagra or any other ED drug before I had surgery for prostate cancer. Since the surgery (4 months ago) I have tried viagra. levitra and cialis daily use. None of them help at all. I am considering a vacume pump that my Dr. had said was one possibility. For anyone who has used one, how effective is it? and how much does it cost? I don’t want to put out a large sum of money if it is not going to work.

There are drugs like Androgel that can increase your testosterone. A cheaper and more fun way is to watch lots and lots of erotic movies. They will turn you into a walking hard-on.

Answer:

Give me a ‘thumbs down’ if you like but I am quite frankly sick and tired of the ‘water cure’. You are a human being not a fish. Cozaar is losartan potassium which is an angiotensin receptor blocker. It is an excellent medication to treat hypertension. Unfortunately all drugs which lower blood pressure may reduce libido and cause erectile dysfunction. I do not feel that it was appropriate for your physician to continue the losartan and add vardenafil hydrochloride (Levitra). A physician should only treat the side effect of a drug with another medication if the primary drug is absolutely essential. There are far too many excellent anti-hypertensive agents which should be tried prior to concluding that you require another medication due to losartan’s side effects. It is true that all drugs which lower blood pressure may lead to decreased libido and erectile dysfunction simply because one drug has these problems does not mean that another drug will as well. It is almost always possible to find a blood pressure medication that a person will tolerate without causing such problems. You really need to go back to your physician and respectfully insist that a different blood pressure medication is tried. If I may be of further assistance please let me know. I wish you the very best of health and in all things may God bless. JR

I feel as if I am an inadequate lover for my girlfriend. What should I do?

Monday, August 8th, 2011 | Permalink

I am seeing two therapists. One is general psyche and is a man. The other one is a sexual therapist and is a woman. I have been reading several books. I have two problems. Forgive me for using initials but I have younger contacts and I don’t want to offend them.
ED- Which I am treating with a prescription drug Levitra. I started on one 10mg and now I take two tablets. I am able to have intercourse and even with her on top with a somewhat adequate amount of success. The last time she said it was “the best I have felt in a long time.”
RE- This one is more difficult to treat. There are no drugs to help the problem. I just can’t seem to finish when we are together. I wind up masturbating myself to finish. I can’t seem to finish with her masturbating me.
With a previous GF, we both had been drinking and I managed to have a premature situation. I will spare you the details. She had been acting drunk earlier in the evening and then later sobered up for sex. I am not sure if it was the excitement of her being a bit tipsy that did it.
Now with the current GF, I can’t seem to finish with her. I have tried everything. Everything. Nothing seems to work.
I have tried not masturbating, going for 7 days without any sexual activity.
I switched from one to two Levitra tablets when making love.
She seems to be happy in our relationship.
I am frustrated and I am very jealous and fear that I am a freak in bed and fear that she will dump me for another man who is “normal.”
I thought about seeing an escort to see if the excitement of another woman could do the trick. I haven’t gone through with that idea. I am scared of contracting HPV which I have heard you can get even if I use a condom. Plus, it would be ironic if being so jealous of her, losing her to another man, that she remained true to me and I was the one who cheated on her.
So I have remained in this relationship for seven and a half months.
Every day she either tells me or texts me that she loves me.
My reaction is pain because I don’t believe that I deserve her. I feel like a loser. I feel ashamed of having ED and RE. I am jealous of the other lovers that my girlfriend has had and imagined how much better the sex must have been with her ex boyfriends than with me.
I feel as if I am an inadequate lover for my girlfriend. What should I do?
@ Smitty- My mother and one of my male friends advised me to get my life in order before starting a new relationship.
I left my ex wife and divorced her so that I could have a sex life.
I have needs. I am a man. Escorts carry disease and I need love in addition to sex. Banging different girls with hookers and one night stands won’t work for me.
And I can’t be chaste like a monk. I need a woman- a girlfriend- sex- love.
I have been masturbating since I was 12. I am 48 now. I have only made love with a limited number of women in my life. My current GF is only the second women that I have been with that I would even consider to have a sex life with. I feel like a freak because I can’t finish like a normal guy. I have to JO to end it.
I have had 4 women and my GF has had 6 men. I don’t count a one night stand with an ex GF in which two encounters I could not get it up. She counts one night stand in which a man couldn’t perform that she met at a club as one. Reworking the math, then it would be me 5 girls and her 6 men.

Answer:

obviously she loves you and wants to make it work, it is not an issue for her. it is more of an issue for YOU.. you could just relax and go about it the way you need to go about it, dont bother with escorts or whatever. what you need to do is just relax and go with how god made you, there’s probably guys out there that can’t perform or actually– i watched something where a guy had an inverted penis and his partner was with him for life, never consumated the marriage. the guy had an operation to have it come out, they are very happy and were very happy before that.. but who knows if it even works perfectly right, maybe he has to take pills too?! it’s just the point that, sexual performance probably matters less to a lot of women.. the intimacy is what gets them satisfied and excited. some women get picky about sexual performance or size but many do not even care.. most of the problems might come from YOU having an issue with it.. so it wold really be great to just relax.. for example, my boyfriend had 9 partners before me and he feels too inexperienced and inadequate for me bc of that. (I had 20.) that is never how i felt so i am just kind of to the point of ignoring it. its really just his issue, clearly is just HIS issue. bc i never thought like that. honestly its been kind of annoying sometimes
thats why its best not to obsess. the best situations are ones that keep a good head and energy about it, liek they say “positive outlooks.” youve got nothing to lose from it and it kind of benefits you. will definitely bring you more confidence in the sack too

Does viagra wear off soon after you ejaculate?? Or can you let one go and stay hard and keep going?

Saturday, August 6th, 2011 | Permalink

This is for people who have used viagra, cialis, or levitra.

I have heard that the drug wears off soon after you ejaculate. My whole purpose of wanting to try viagra is to be able to bust one and stay hard so I can keep going. And bust another one and keep going. etc.

If viagra doesn’t prevent pre-mature ejaculation and wears off soon after you ejaculate how in the heck does it assist a man in going all night long??

I can normally go 15min. easy and 30min. if I’m really trying to keep going. But my problem is after I get my nut I’m satisfied and my unit goes limp(usually down for the count). Will cialis, levitra, or viagra keep my unit hard after I ejaculate and if so for how long? ( because after I blow one off if it stays hard for at least 5 min I can do the rest and get back in the game.

Any suggestions on which one if these pills will do that? Also any other info you have on your experiences(with the pills) would be cool. Thanks

Answer:

With viagra cialis or levitra you are getting back ready very soon after you ejaculate. Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra work by a similar mechanism to cause erections. There are subtle differences in how long the drug works and how quickly it works. Levitra works a little longer than Viagra. They both take effect in about 30 minutes. With Levitra, the effects last for about 5 hours. With Viagra, the effects last approximately 4 hours.
Cialis works a bit faster (within about 15 minutes), and the effects last much longer — up to 36 hours in some cases.

I was diagnosed with severe erectile dysfunction and was prescribed Viagra. I used to consume about 4-6 pills a week in average which cost me around 0 a month. But then I tried generic Cialis – tadalafil and was very astonished with its long lasting and strong effect. I now only need 2-3 Cialis pills a week and they give me full satisfaction any day of the week. Cialis has reduced my ED treatment expenses by about 70% and saved me a lot of money. I purchase Cialis through reputable http://www.POMpharmacy.com online drugstore.

what happens if a girl takes an directal disfunction drug .?

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 | Permalink

a directal disfunction drug is what you called viagra, cialis , levitra, i kind of know what will happen because I worked in a pharamacy but i want your opinions

Answer:

I’m curious too, especially since you worked in a pharmacy and don’t know how to spell “erectal” and that those meds you mentioned are classified as erectal dysfunction drugs, not the other way around. I’ve never used any of the stuff, so I wouldn’t know how they would even affect me!
